Re: Fedora 4, Kernel 2.6.12, Samba 3.0.14a I connect to a Windows share using "mount -t smbfs". I can copy *from* the Windows share to the Fedora box with no problems (using a 20GB AVI for my test). When I copy *to* the Windows share from the Fedora box, the data transfer is cut short when it reaches 2GB (2147483647). Why is this? I remember reading about a 2GB problem in the past, but I seem to recall all of the answers referencing newer version kernels and Samba. I'm sure that I'm beyond those posts with kernel 2.6.12 and samba 3.0.14a. No? Is there another issue?
