i added an hard drive and samba stopped working.
$ smbd -D (and it doenst go "daemon"... it just stays there, however it
shows in the "ps")
nmbd -D (seems to start without problems)
smbclient -L localhost (doenst work, gives me refused)

i tried -d 5 but i couldnt see anything wrong in the logs.

I removed the hard drive and smbd worked & i was able to list the services
by "smbclient -L localhost -U user"

can samba malfunction due to hardware problems ? how can i use the harddrive
and still be able to run samba ?

cumps...
