Well, I think I cancelled the membership of the club. At least on the testin server I did, altough login now takes ages, but it may have to do with the machines specs, and the fact that I really did push the limit. Upgrading glibc to 2.3.5-10 and nss_ldap to 234-4 solved the issue. Since you already have glibc 2.3.6... Have you tried upgrading nss_ldap?
