The ldapsamba and ldapsam_compat code accept an ldap URI. SO the correct way to specify an alternative port is 'passdb backend = ldapsam:ldap://localhost:4389/'. But again, this really is not related to the --with-ldapsam option which is only for 2.2 compatible smb.conf settings. People should have had time to move to the 3.0 syntax by now. It's been over 2 & 1/2 years since 3.0.0 was released and over 1 & 1/2 since 2.2 was discontinued. cheers, jerry ===================================================================== Samba ------- http://www.samba.org Centeris ----------- http://www.centeris.com "What man is a man who does not make the world better?" --Balian -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFEZLNLIR7qMdg1EfYRAspDAKC9kAqTdtoaGYF8sTZuhNWN9k1FZQCgoz/6 /9uZ7UfzCggvBEK+shBkork= =zhxB -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe from this list go to the following URL and read the instructions: https://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/samba
