Hi all, I set up a samba server as PDC and counfigured one local printer connected to the samba server's parallel port and another jetdirect pritner with ip 192.168.0.10:9100 using the CUPS WEB INERFACE. Both were working fine and I could print from windwos clients also.
Samba server was configured on a test system. So saturday evening I shutdown the system and today when I started the linux box, I could not find the printers I have configured. Just to test again I configured a parallel printer again and restarted the linux (Fedora core 4) system and found that the system is not showing any pritners, neither in cups config page nor in Desktop->systemconfig->pritners option. Could someone help me to understand why the printers vanish after a restart and how can I keep them even after a restart?
