For the record, this is what WinXP does as well. You cannot join a WinXP box to a domain using a non-admin account if the client's FQDN is outside the AD domain. I agree this is a change from previous Samba version, but then previous Samba releases always required domain admin creds to join. cheers, jerry ===================================================================== Samba ------- http://www.samba.org Centeris ----------- http://www.centeris.com "What man is a man who does not make the world better?" --Balian -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFEqSGZIR7qMdg1EfYRAsuaAKCBXIjNWKQhdQbO4pyJKYJaYY/9/wCgzXN8 c6ABvr9kWe75tgkbKBtJHHk= =opvz -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe from this list go to the following URL and read the instructions: https://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/samba
