Is there anyway for me to patch that code to suit my needs or is it hard to make that distinction between servers internally in samba? In other words could this be done with some code modifications without having suicidal dreams at night.. :)

Thanks,
henrik

Hi list,

I wonder why rpcclient -c 'netsharegetinfo tmp' returns
"C:\tmp" as physical path when run against a samba server
on a linux box. It should return "/tmp".

The srvsvc calls always convert Unix paths to c:\ style
paths to make Windows clients happy.

As I understand it the rpcclient command is not actively
maintained, if so, is there any other utils or libs that
will let me do this?

It's more of a developer tool than abandoned code.

cheers, jerry
