HI have a bizzare problem. When I mount a share, the mount point disappears! Details:
Distribution: SUSE 9.2 Kernel: 2.6.8-24.24-default Samba: 3.0.23c-0.1.36 Lawserv2: Windows 2003 SP 1 Problem: > ls /mountpoints samba1 samba2 > mount -t smbfs -o username=Administrator,workgroup=Athena //lawserv2/d /mountpoints/samba1 Password: > cd /mountpoints > ls /bin/ls: samba1: Input/output error samba2 > cd samba1 > ls /bin/ls: .: Input/output error > cd / > umount /mountpoints/samba1 > ls /mountpoints samba1 samba2 > Any idea what is going on?
