HI have a bizzare problem. When I mount a share, the
mount point disappears!
Details:

Distribution: SUSE 9.2
Kernel: 2.6.8-24.24-default
Samba: 3.0.23c-0.1.36
Lawserv2: Windows 2003 SP 1

Problem:
> ls /mountpoints
samba1 samba2
> mount -t smbfs -o
username=Administrator,workgroup=Athena //lawserv2/d
/mountpoints/samba1
Password:
> cd /mountpoints
> ls
/bin/ls: samba1: Input/output error
samba2
> cd samba1
> ls
/bin/ls: .: Input/output error
> cd /
> umount /mountpoints/samba1
> ls /mountpoints
samba1 samba2
>

Any idea what is going on? And how to fix it?

Thank you,
Andy
