Hi I installed my server few months ago so it is not so current. I have a configuration similar to yours and I didn't have problems installing. I have installed:
openldap-client-2.2.26 Open source LDAP client implementation openldap-server-2.2.26 Open source LDAP server implementation I suggest you start installing the client.
