Why don't you use server side scripts for that like PHP or Ruby??
There is a lot of LDAP libs for both of them.

Does anyone know how I might be able to use the Javascript libs
that come with Samba 4 to create a web page that can search Active
Directory (an actual MS AD server)? I looked through the SWAT
pages, but I didn't get a sense of how to use it (or if I could).
I know this is not a strictly Samba question, but I'd like a
platform independent way to access an AD server and this seems like
it might be a promising way to do that.
