Hi Komal,
Hi all,
        This is my query.
Let me explain the environment first.
I have to write a perl-cgi script to add a user in samba.
I will be accessing this script through apache server, in short i am
making a web page to add samba user.

My query is how can i add user with "smbpasswd" command and giving
password as command line argument. In normal scenario i get a prompt asking for password, but i don't want that. I want the command i can give to my perl-cgi script.

        Can anybody help me please.
Using Expect, you can script an interactive command line session. I have already used it with smbldap-passwd and it works great.

Cheers,

Denis

Komal.
