Why do you stuck with getent? For getting user and group information you can use wbinfo -u and wbinfo -g respectively. For getting group list, which belonged some user for, use wbinfo -r <username>. Or wbinfo --user-domgroups <SID> to getting list, filled with SID's. For getting user information use wbinfo -i -- With Best Regards. Rashid N.
