I run a 2.2.8-samba as fileserver and PDC for a small network with NT4- and XP-clients.
Now I've got a vista-machine and want to access shares on the server (not joining the domain), but whatever I try: vista tells me all the time that the login is incorrect.
I tried all the usual combinations like server\username, username, \\server\username ...
Is there a general problem with vista and old sambas or do just I have a funny problem here?
