I am running Samba on FC8. When I run 'smbstatus' I am showing a users
with a TON of connections to the server. Usually they will have 2-3
files open at once but at this point I am seeing 20+ files open from 2
specific computers. Most all of these files are duplicates. For
instance, if we open a single file Samba will show that file opened 2-3
times, this is across the board, but excessive only in two cases.
I have verified the PC's to be clean of spyware / virus's and that no
indexing services are running.
Any ideas?
