Hi, I received this error when add a member to the Backup Operators group The following setup is used:
# ./net groupmap list Backup Operators (S-1-5-21-736258160-3382879245-470844908-551) -> backop backop is a local unix group # ./net rpc group list Password: Backup Operators # ./net rpc group addmem "Backup Operators" adminbbs Password: Could not add adminbbs to Backup Operators: NT_STATUS_NO_SUCH_ALIAS adminbbs is not a local Unix group but can be look up with nis # ypcat passwd | grep adminbbs adminbbs::898:500:adminbbs:/personal/adminbbs:/bin/csh samba server is joined with an active directory domain smbd, nmbd services are running, no winbindd daemon is activated.
