Hi,
i need to restrict access to printers based on the client ip in order
to prevent users from accidentily printing to the wrong queue. If I
used IPP on windows side to restrict acces to printers (based on the
client IP), the task would be easy, but then the automatic printer
driver installation would not work. Is it possible with samba to
define a share per printer and restrict access based on client IP? I
tried unsuccesfully to find something appropriatly in the samba howto
and the samba by example. Most certainly I just overlooked the right
chapter.
Could anybody give me a hint?
