Hi! I have to networks 192.168.1.0 and 192.168.2.0 connected via VPN.
The Samba 3.28 PDC is in the 192.168.1.0 net and a ldap replica based Samba 3.28 BDC is in the 192.168.2.0 net. My intend was not only to have a backup I wanted that the 192.168.2.0 clients authenticate against the BDC and collect there browsing lists from the BDC (what they actually do - i assume as the BDC is the local master browser). The first thing - authentication never happens, the clients automatically do there "domain things" with the PDC.
