Hello, I am trying to connect to a shared printer on my Samba server. I map the printer just fine on my PC however I get this error in my smbd.log file:
Jul 29 10:09:00 prntsrv smbd[6298]: [2008/07/29 10:09:00, 0] smbd/service.c:make_connection(1191) Jul 29 10:09:00 prntsrv smbd[6298]: wh-122413-d820 (64.72.1.50) couldn't find service neares The service is actually called "nearest". I have another called "alt" that is getting reported in the same way as "al" Also both shares are set to run the following preexec statement which is not running.
