Hi All, I have a problem with BDCs and winbind. The server I'm trying to use as a BDC works fine with winbind if it's a member server but as soon as I enable "domain logons" and local master (it's on a subnet), winbind stops resolving users and groups. attemting to verify the conmnection results as follows:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# wbinfo -t checking the trust secret via RPC calls failed error code was NT_STATUS_DOMAIN_CONTROLLER_NOT_FOUND (0xc0000233) Could not check secret Disabling domain logons and local master allows winbind to resolv names from the PDC again. I've been hunting on Google for ages and can find other people with the same problem but no solutions. Is this a feature of winbind and Samba in BDC mode? BTW, if winbind isn't running all permissions for users stops working.
