Same symptoms here as reported by raoulduke. With no printers loaded,
"\\server" loads fine, but with even one printer shared, the explorer
freezes (Win XP SP3, no IPv6) for about 10 minutes and then displays the
server properly.
The actual shares ("\\server\share") work fine including the printer shares.
I have already spent days debugging this without much success.
Has anybody made more progress on this?
