Hi,

now it works the servers were not native W2k ADs.

The Forrest was :

root=  witt.local
child = de.witt.local

Both system not native w2k AD.
THE linux systems is part of "witt.local"

Strange was that the UPN login works for the child , "de.witt.local" and not
for "witt.local" after upgrade the root to native W2k AD it works for both.

Any Idea why this happened?
UPN authentication works only in a pure W2k or higher Directory!?

thanks for your help and merry christmas
carsten
