Volker,
I scanned the lists and came across quite a few with the same issue I
had and you were in a few :). I have found no mention of negative impact
as of yet. Did find many posts asking if it would cause negative impact
but no definitive answer. I understand that does not mean that there
will be no issues.

Seems the solution is to not re export NFS file systems as you mentioned
in the posts. I was hoping not to run Samba off of this box to avoid
bogging it down but I may have to after all. Actually the box exporting
the NFS data is a NT4.0 domain member server and the Samba install has
no ADS support built in. I will have to recompile or rebuild I guess.
