While attempting to configure my (working) Fedora DS installation to work with Samba 4, I came across the following error: r...@host/usr/share/samba# setup-ds --file=/var/lib/samba/private/ldap/fedorads.inf --snip-- Could not import LDIF file 'suggest'. Error: 256. Output: importing data ... suggest file could not be opened: absolute path required. Error: Could not create directory server instance 'samba4'. Exiting . . . I used this command to generate the fedorads.inf file: /usr/share/samba/setup/provision-backend --realm=domain.net --domain=domain --ldap-backend-port=9830 --ldap-admin-pass=<pass> --ldap-backend-type=fedora-ds --server-role='domain controller' Any idea why this does not work?
