Hello Lluis If you have a NVIDIA graphics adapter installed, it is possible that the buggy driver software prevents unloading the profiles correctly. It has nothing to do with Samba and occurs even on Windows Server.
You can disable the NVIDIA Desktop Interaction Service to get it working. This is a very annoying bug we found on several machines. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/897101 I hope it helps...
