Thanks for your help,
For maintenance reason, I don't want to manually compile samba. So I
look into the new release of Ubuntu (9.04) and samba 3.3.0 is available.
Do you consider the gaps between 3.3.0 and 3.3.1 really big ?
Considering your recommendation, I will create a new server with Samba
3.3.0.
