Hi Everyone, Well, when I asked about a personal firewall, I did not expect to open this can of worms. ;-)
I had noticed that port 135 is open and I was not sure how bad this was. I thought a personal firewall would take care of that problem. So, from what I understand, zonealarm should take care of this problem. Does anyone know if you can specify what ports to keep open with zonealarm? My isp blocks port 80, bo I have had to redirect to another port. i have that working ok, but if I install a firewall, will it end up blocking that port? I also use the mail server in sambar, so port 25 and 110 are open, but do not relay. Thanks for your suggestions and help. I am still pretty new to all of this.
