I am somewhat challenged when it comes to all this stuff, but I was able to get Sambar
to work on W2K without any problems. These are the steps I took:

1. Install Sambar
2. Install the service by opening a DOS window and run the command line:
c:\yourpath\sambar\bin\ntserver -i
3. Now open W2K services and find the Sambar Server entry. From this dialog box you
can start the Sambar server, and do other things by tweaking its properties.

There was no other "magic" to it. This is all I had to do and Sambar launched without
a hitch

I hope that helps.

Michael
