If you have a webserver on the second machine you need to open up a port for it on your router. Say 81 for example. Then when you link to it include the port number. http://www.mysite.com:81. Don't forget the colon :. If it's just that the files are on the other machine then I would map a drive and use either Alias's or vHost to point to it.

The NAT won't help with that, he needs to map the drive. Maybe I'm wrong. -----Original Message----- From: "Gund" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "sambar List Member" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Thu, 13 Feb 2003 08:46:29 +0100 Subject: [sambar] HTML link {02} > Hi > > Reverse NAT is the only way you can map a private address to a public > one. > Your router should ave a facility to do this. > > You can also deliver private pages to a public machine that is hosting > a > backward proxy. > > > Gund > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Newsgroups: sambarzone.list > To: "sambar List Member" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Wednesday, February 12, 2003 4:48 PM > Subject: [sambar] HTML link {01} > > > > > > I have Sambar located on one machine.
