This is what I'm trying to do. Yes, I'm listed as secondary for him.
I think it's the order in which sambar handles mail. I'm thinking if I
turned of smtp auth, it'd all just start working. I can't do that on the
production machine. Here's my theory on what's happening.
Sambar get's mail knocking on the door.
sambar checks to see if to local mailboxes.
if not local, sambar checks smtp auth.
sambar refuses acceptance of mail.
sambar never gets to the "relay domains" setting because of auth.
According to my feeble minded theory, sambar should be checking for relay
domain before it does the auth.
Since I'm doing Linux squid sever on a way underutilized machine. Am going
to attempt to use postfix on that machine to do this stuff. But am still
interested if my theory is correct.
