I'm not sure if this is a Sambar config issue or an XP config issue. I installed Sambar 6.0-1 on my XP Pro SP 1 system and I can run it and browse to localhost just fine. However, I get no response from my other PC on my local LAN.
I can ping the Sambar host from the other system (a Win2K system), but I cannot http or ftp to it. I was careful to enable "Act As HTTP Server = true" in the Sambar config.ini. It makes no difference if I turn off Black Ice on the Sambar host. Thanks for any suggestions on how to debug this. p.s. There does not seem to be any way to turn OFF the ftp server in the GUI, once you have enabled it.
