Also you might find that those files in the spool are really large files being sent and are building in size before being placed in mailboxs. I ran into this when I had a poorly formated spam entry and also allowed files larger than 1 mg

Subject: [sambar] E-Mail Failures

I don't get that but my sambar server sometimes will have messages
backup in the mail spool directory. when that happens the server is
still receiving mail but no pop3 or webmail clients get any response
from the server. usually I can stop and restart the sambar server
service and the mail spool will clear and run normally. I have noticed
that this occurs more frequently when I am running more that 2 mail
threads. Anyone else have any problems in this area?

Thanks!

Jeff

Does anybody have any idea why SAMBAR 6.01 Pro times out when getting

Say there are 60 emails. I can log in with outlook Express and start
getting the mail, then at some point before finishing (seems random)
say 15 or 30 mails in , I get a "SERVER HAS NOT RESPONDED" error

Thanks Randy
