I was abl to install MySQL (4.0.18) and PHP (4.3.6) on W2K running Sambar 5.1.
I can access MySQL with phpmyadmin, and have problems with MySQL administration, inlcuding database management and record inserts. For PHP the phpibfo.php runs OK. I tried a PHP script to retrieve records from a MySQL table without any problems. If I try and run a PHP script to do an SQL INSERT, a record is created but no data is populated into the table (record with blank entries). However, a record ID is created on the primary index field. Besides checking my syntax (which I have dozens of times) does anyone have any suggestions with what may be going on?
