We have not had any issues with folder names using hyphen. One thing to note though is 
that when standards are set to use same name for folder, same name for dbms, log 
files, etc we have found that DBMS is not so forgiving with the hyphen so we typically 
remove the hyphen when building the DBMS cache. Everything else has no problems.
