Hence, the statement play at "home".. I agree. And of course a lot of this is for general understanding of NAT.. I really doubt a big company would be using Winroute Pro for their NAT translation. More like a couple of Cisco 7513's. If your building servers within your place of work, feel lucky that they even open up :80 for you, and worship them if they give you an IP on the DMZ. :)
Speaking on NAT, my original statement was using it where you didn't care what and where people accessed on the Internet. Personally at my house I don't care and prefer NAT. Big Corporations will never use NAT but proxy so they can track and deny access to the internet. But, $100 says their proxy server is using NAT as the proxy server more than likely has a private IP as well. I will have to admit that some of our customers desire restricted access to the internet. This is where we would choose proxy over NAT, and of course Winroute PRO handles that as well. No, I don't work for Tiny but I like their stuff.
