Thank You Everybody for the help. I am now able to test my perl scripts offline, and with errors shown, after altering the config file under http section to d:/perl/bin/perl.exe , this being the location of the ActivePerl in my system.
Without any other alteration except the config file mentioned above, I noted that Sambar disregard the first line shebang #! and most probably treat the shebang as a comment #. Is this the way Sambar works? Have I missed anything? or maybe this is the way ActivePerl works. As opposed to some members suggesting changing the location of the first line, I've noted that the first line is commented out and the following undermentioned first lines will execute the perl script without any errors whatsoever and makes no differences. :- # #! #anything rubbish / rubbish ////#@$! still work #!d:/rubbish//// Thanks. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
