To whom it may concern, Hello, I downloaded smatools-1.2.tar.bz2 which I extracted in Ubuntu 12.04 OS and from the terminal I tried to install and open the Samtools by going inside the directory and by using the "make" command as described in http://www.htslib.org/download/ but as a noob in Linux I can not seem to get it running.
Any help on how to install/open the samtools in linux?
