Hi Everybody,

I am hoping someone can help explain an issue we are having with Mark
Duplicates. When using the same settings(Pixel Distance = 0) and the same BAM
file, we are getting different numbers of optical duplicates detected from
different releases of Picard.

1.66 and 1.129(latest) have the same number
1.119 has zero optical duplicates detected

First question: Why are they different?
Second Question: Why should any optical duplicates be detected if the pixel
distance =0?

Thank you
