I have a question for the Picard developers at the Broad. It's been brought to
our attention that picard .dict file creation doesn't recognize the FASTA file
extension .fna. Could that be added to your list of recognized extensions
(check for .fasta, .fa, .fsa, or .fna)? I think that would cover the applicable
common extensions:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FASTA_format
It would save users from having to rename files coming from NCBI before use in
Picard.
Thanks!
