Hi Samtools Help,
Would it be possible to add to Tabix the equivalent of grep's -q/-c
switches, i.e. print nothing and exit with status 0 if any match is found,
or print the number of matches found, respectively? I'm currently just
piping to wc but this is less efficient than if it were implemented
internally.
