Hello, While trying to make my scanner work with scanbd on Ubuntu 16.04 came across this;
https://alioth-lists.debian.net/pipermail/sane-devel/2018-April/036155.html <https://alioth-lists.debian.net/pipermail/sane-devel/2018-April/036155.html> Am curious to know whether the patch has been incorporated. My set-up though working with SANE (Both local and network scanning is working perfectly) has consistently refused to detect options via SCANBD This is all I get——> Sep 10 16:58:00 sahara scanbd: /usr/sbin/scanbd: Iteration on dbus call Sep 10 16:58:00 sahara scanbd: /usr/sbin/scanbd: polling thread for hp5590:libusb:001:002 cancellation point Sep 10 16:58:00 sahara scanbd: /usr/sbin/scanbd: polling device hp5590:libusb:001:002 Sep 10 16:58:00 sahara scanbd: /usr/sbin/scanbd: get_sane_option_value Sep 10 16:58:00 sahara scanbd: /usr/sbin/scanbd: checking option preview number 10 (0) for device hp5590:libusb:001:002: value: 0 Sep 10 16:58:01 sahara scanbd: /usr/sbin/scanbd: polling thread for hp5590:libusb:001:002 cancellation point Sep 10 16:58:01 sahara scanbd: /usr/sbin/scanbd: polling device hp5590:libusb:001:002 Sep 10 16:58:01 sahara scanbd: /usr/sbin/scanbd: get_sane_option_value Sep 10 16:58:01 sahara scanbd: /usr/sbin/scanbd: checking option preview number 10 (0) for device hp5590:libusb:001:002: value: 0 Sep 10 16:58:01 sahara scanbd: /usr/sbin/scanbd: Iteration on dbus call Any pointers?
