I have downloaded and installed the drivers again from the Canon site

CanonTS3100 serie
restarted the ubuntu 18.04 lts on the PC, but still no contact with
USB.
Been on Google and searched for solutions - but still in vain.
"_Printing stopped_" is the message when I use the wi-fi connection.
But at least they have contact with each other.
tried USB connection but then message : _unable to locate printer_.
However, sane scanner works perfect with USB connection..
Any suggestion fro your side ??

even ppa, you have to install cnijfilter2 or update cups.
Here it is only scanners.
