Hi Oliver, Thank you for your explanation! I’ll try asap and letting you know.
Anyway, there is this repository where a guy is going to port Mattias Ellert TWAIN Sane Interface for Mac OS X to newer macOS versions. Just give it a look. I think you could help him better than me. :) https://github.com/genose/macos-sierra-sane-binaries This is an Issue I opened on GitLab sane-backends repository. Could this be related to your fix? If yes, I’m gonna close it. https://gitlab.com/sane-project/backends/issues/38 Best, Umberto > Il giorno 28 apr 2019, alle ore 17:22, Oliver Schwartz > <[email protected]> ha scritto: > > Umberto, > > > I would like to try this patch, how can I do? > > You can add the patch to the homebrew formula (see the attached file). To fix this, I had to create another symlink: > cd /usr/local/include > ln -s ../Cellar/jpeg/9c/include/jerror.h > > Then, run > brew reinstall sane-backends -s > > > > Another thing: since the Mac recognize the USB Scanner already, would it be > > possible to utilize the default macOS library for handling usb devices?
