[sane-devel] Error during save: broken pipe

Just upgraded from Ubuntu 16.04 to 18.04.  Have networked Brother J6945
all-in-one that was working perfectly on 16.04.  At 18.04 I can print, but
get the subject message when I try to scan. Please advise.
