Thierry,
What you did in this case may be very useful for other people beyond
these 2 specific drivers. Could you possibly do a little write-up on
what you did to accomplish this feat?
Here are the two backends
1 - sp-330-3710-series-scanner
2 - sp-300series_Scanner
https://www.grosfichiers.com/HymZCvq4y93
I do this to you!
This script http://pastebin.fr/85651
transforme this "sp-330-3710-series-scanner-1.00-amd64.deb" package into
this "sp-330-3710-series-scanner_1.00_amd64.deb" package
Thierry
I would be more than happy to edit and otherwise help with the
writing.

It works!
Okay,
Theoretically it should work, I enclose the second package and for
reminder hand over the first one.
Thierry
Thanks

I found this sane driver for the SP 377. Its for Ubuntu 14.10,
but
it should still work

Perhaps if you contact them (your company presumably has an
account), they may consider open sourcing the sane driver...

Yeah, the package is broken on installation, they ship it on a
.exe
with a .deb inside, and it's outdated. But it works for the 3710.
Does not work for the SP 377sfnwx (which my company also uses).
This worries me as it seems Ricoh gives no importance to other
systems than Windows.
So I thought "let's use their airprint". It's totally broken,
does
not even work on macosx.
But thank you for the suggestion :)

Have you tried the SANE driver Ricoh provides?

Hi,
Some days ago I got some help from Thierry and Alexander on
getting
the Ricoh (SP 3710) working with sane-escl, sane-airscan.
Seems Ricoh scanners have bad software, as we don't get it to
work
after many tries.
I managed to install osx catalina on my ubuntu machine through
the
"sosumi" (uses kvm) project.
The idea is to capture the network traffic with wireshark and
discover what "mambo jambo" Ricoh is doing.
I have been able to detect and add the scanner, but when I try to
scan I get a "Failed to open a connection to the device
(-21345)".
Since I don't own a Ricoh printer (my company does), it's behind
a
firewall. The admin did clear everything on the printer IP
address.
Any ideas what might be wrong?
The Ricoh printer settings does have an AirPrint section.
