[sane-devel] --scan-area versus -x -y

Hi there!

How are options --scan-area and -x -y related?
Do they basically do the same? Are they redundant?

When setting --scan-area="ISO/A4/Portrait"  for my Epson XP-7100 is it
the safe to omit -x and -y ?
