I am using Linux Mint, Simple Scan and Canon MF210 scanner-printer combo.
The MF210 is on a different subnetwork and cannot be found by SANE / Simple Scan.
With the printer driver I can specify the IP address in the properties configuration window and it will find it and it works but SANE will only search the subnetwork by itself and not allow me to specify an IP address.
Is there a way that I could get SANE to work with an IP address outside of my network?
