Not as far as I know. I would use airscan. Can you scan with xsane "airscan:e0:Canon TS6400 series (USB)" For my records, I would appreciate having the outputs of avahi-browse -rt _ipp._tcp avahi-browse -rt _uscan._tcp avahi-browse is in the avahi-utils package. TIA, -- Brian.
