It is taking about 10 times longer to scan (even in preview mode) in
Linux than it does in W2K. I've tried the 2.4.8 and 2.4.13 kernels,
Sane 1.0.5 and 1.0.6, and a couple of frontends (xsane, iscan - from
Epson) with no difference. Is this normal?
