I have a Genius HR6 V2 USB scanner which uses LM983x. I would like to give some feedback but I have no idea how to setup SANE. The bearpaw-test or soemthing like that standalone .c file did turn on its lamp and moved its head.
Please tell me how can I check this module so I can tell you about its extent of working. I have enough C/C++ experience on linux as well, and I am not expecting you to write a module just for me, but if I can help in generalizing this module, why not? -tasnim ----- Original Message ----- From: Jaeger, Gerhard <[email protected]> To: Plustek-List <[email protected]>; SANE-List <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, November 30, 2001 1:31 AM Subject: [sane-devel] driver for LM983x based scanners - V0.40-7 > Hi list, > > I've currently put build 7 onto the Plustek driver site at: > > http://home.t-online.de/home/g-jaeger/plustek.html > > Major changes are: > > - Scanning is possible up to the max phys. resolution of the stepper motor > - HP2200c stuff has been intergated (thanx to Stefan Nilsen) > - Mustek Bearpaw stuff has also been integrated > (thanx to Henning Meier-Geinitz) > - The config file now has the same format like the USB lib stuff > > I hope to get some info from the Canon, Epson and Umax guys... > > The known product IDs have been submitted to David Nelson for > integration to the USB-stuff... > > The plan is to put the backend into SANE-1.0.7 > > Gerhard > > _______________________________________________ > Sane-devel mailing list > [email protected] > http://www.mostang.com/mailman/listinfo/sane-devel >
