Sounds good. But how does inetd find your saned? The last statement
("saned") should contain a full absolute path like
/usr/local/sbin/saned or wherever your saned is (type "which saned" to
find out).
Also, did you restart/notify your inetd after changes to the
configuration file? A reboot will do this, of course.
